Sandgate Theatre Inc. presents three tales of deception and murder for its Cafe One Acts this year.
In "For Fear of Strangers", a drama by Peter Assinder, directed by Christine Linning, a woman tries to comfort her sister who is in hiding, terrorised by letters that foretell her death that very night.

"Sweet Caroline Sweet" is a drama by Tony Edwards, directed by David Corrie. Middle-aged clerk Percy thinks his luck has changed when he meets beautiful and charming Caroline. But is his new love all that she seems?

And in Pat Wood's hilarious comedy "Busy Bodies", directed by Steven O'Cathmhogha, a scheming couple must hide a body when a plot to murder their wealthy aunt goes wrong. But how many hideouts are safe from a nosy aunt?
