The first play in Leslie Sands' trilogy of seaside capers at the Seaview Guest House. The tyrannical landlady Mrs Austin terrorises her lodgers with her bread and butter pudding, while newlyweds Mr and Mrs Pepper realise that marriage is no honeymoon and Wilf and Ethel Pearson try to prevent their daughter Sally from running off with a local 'theatrical' trickster. "It's a great play full of laughs" says David Corrie, Sandgate Theatre President and director of the play. "It was the first play I ever did, that was about 13 yrs ago. I thought it was hilarious then and I think it's even more hilarious now."

"We have a good balance of very experience actors and a few that are new to Sandgate Theatre. The tyrannical Mrs Austin is played by local resident Mary Cuthbert. She played Mrs Austin thirteen years ago and now she's back again. She's a fantastic actor" says David, "I am so glad I got her to do the part again. She's just perfect for the role."
