A warm, local welcome awaits all entrants in Yarrageh 2010. If you only enter one festival this year, make it this one! Last year's entries were fantastic, showcasing Brisbane's finest talent.
"Yarrageh" is an aboriginal word meaning beginning of spring time, hence the Yarrageh festival is always around the start of September. Earliest reports are from 1974 which was won by the Brisbane School for the Deaf. In 1975 Sandgate Theatre won and has played host to the festival since then. Since then, a broad cross section of theatre groups been Winners.

The 2010 festival will be held at KSP Venue Cnr Old Bay Rd and Maitland Rd Burpengary.
This year's adjudicator is Kurt Lerps.
